Functional Diagnostics
When guessing is no longer enough
Measurable data can change the conversation.
Some questions cannot be answered well by symptoms alone. Functional diagnostics can provide useful clues when stress, sleep, energy, hormones, digestion or metabolism remain unclear.
Testing is never the goal by itself. It only makes sense when the result helps us choose better interventions.
When appropriate, I work with certified specialist labs, mainly Nordic Laboratories.
Possible areas of analysis

Stress, sleep and nervous system
Cortisol Awakening Response, melatonin profile and tracking of recovery, HRV and stress patterns.

Hormones
Hormonal relationships, cortisol rhythm and vitamin D metabolism when these areas are relevant.

Mitochondria and energy
Organic acids, fatty acid status and markers linked to energy production and metabolic load.

Genetics and epigenetics
Genetic variants around metabolism, estrogen, mental resilience, biological aging and related pathways.

Gut, immune system and food reactions
Microbiome, digestion, inflammatory load and immune reactions to foods.

Pregnancy and fertility context
Selected markers around pregnancy, development and preparation when relevant.
How diagnostics are used
Functional diagnostics support health analysis but do not replace diagnosis, treatment or advice from a physician.
